ARK SCHEDULE

1. Calendar and Daily Schedule:  The Ark operates in two sessions: school year (fall and spring) and summer session. The summer session begins the first working day after Los Alamos Schools dismiss for the summer. The school session begins on the same day the Los Alamos Schools begin fall classes.  Enrollment for each session is for the entire session only. A calendar of scheduled special events and scheduled closures will be available the first day of each session. Calendars are available through the Ark office. Closure or operation for the December break will be evaluated each year. A decision to operate will be made by the Ark Board by October 15 based on the families to be served during that time and available staffing.
