Complaint Procedures:  When areas of concern arise, the problem should be brought to the attention of the classroom teacher who will hear the suggestion and/or grievance and attempt to work through the issue.  Any problem arising with teenage aides should be taken up first with their supervisor and not directly with the aides.  If the problem is not resolved to your satisfaction, take it to the Ark Director.  If there is a complaint about the care provided by a caregiver, please present this in writing to the Ark Director and the Ark Board.  Any problem that cannot be resolved through the Ark Director will be brought to the Ark Board for resolution.  If any problem still cannot be resolved, any parent can file an official complaint with the New Mexico State Child, Youth and Families Dept., Child Care Licensing Bureau (827-7684).  The rules governing this complaint process are:
