Parent Handbook
DISCIPLINE
The Ark will follow state regulation 23.1 regarding discipline.
23.1.1 A center will have written policies and procedures clearly outlining disciplinary practices. Centers will give this information to all parents and staff who will sign a form to acknowledge that they have read and understand these policies and procedures.
23.1.2 Discipline will be consistent and age appropriate.
23.1.3 Discipline will include positive guidance, redirection, and clear limits that encourage the child’s ability to become self-disciplined.
