Mission Statement

The mission of the United Methodist church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ and as members of the First United Methodist Church of Los Alamos Outreach and Missions Committee we will advance the kingdom through the following:

We will work in our community and surrounding communities by supporting local Christian organizations, civic organizations, and our church by being the hands and feet of Jesus.
We will accomplish this by missions of mercy conveying Christ’s love to all through silent service or when appropriate through joyful evangelism, in our community, in our country, and around the world.

We will distribute literature (Bibles, appropriate tracts, children’s Christian material, etc) when requested or if the need is identified.
