Handbook

LA Cares

LA Cares provides services to families in need within Los Alamos County.  Services include: food, gas vouchers, diapers, infant formula, arrangement of temporary housing (1 - 4 days), car repairs, medical / dental treatment assistance, obtain used furniture and other household goods, and emergency “gap” assistance.    LA Cares works with other agencies and non-profit organizations through their established network to provide services not available in their facility and makes referrals when necessary.
