The Food Depot Food Bank

The mission of The Food Depot is to minimize hunger in northern New Mexico. This is accomplished by working with many agencies throughout northern New Mexico.  Each month, The Food Depot, Northern New Mexico's only food bank distributes an average of 200,000 pounds of food and household products, providing more than 260,000 meals through its member agencies.  The Food Depot network is composed of 100 member agencies including emergency food pantries, hot meal programs, homeless shelters, youth programs, group homes, senior centers, day care centers, and shelters for battered persons.

The Food Depot is housed in The Angel Depot, a 14,000 square foot warehouse located at 1222 Siler Road just off of Cerrillos Road in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The Food Depot shares the Angel Depot with Kitchen Angels and Food for Santa Fe. The Food Depot is a secondary distribution organization of America's Second Harvest, a nationwide network of more than 250 food banks throughout the nation, serving all 50 states. The food banks distribute food to more than 50,000 member agencies. The America's Second Harvest network is the largest domestic hunger-relief charity in the United States.
