Definitions

Special offerings:  Monthly offerings that are directed to specific recipients designated yearly by the FUMC Mission Team. The group(s) or organization(s) that receive special offerings vary annually due to their needs. Some, but not all of these special offerings include matching funds, which have been described elsewhere. From time to time where there is an unforeseen or immediate need such as a tornado or other natural disaster, FUMC’s Outreach & Missions Team may go directly to the congregation for an additional special offering.
