"JOHN'S GOSPEL -- CHAPTER SIXTEEN" We continue to progress in a "sermonic study" of the Gospel of John. At our present pace of one chapter per week we should be able to finish this series of messages by the last Sunday of June. John 16:1-4 "Fair warning" of troubles to come Killing as a service to God? The significance of being "put out of the synagogue" John 16:5-15 The works of the Holy Spirit The world's guilt in regard to sin, righteousness, and judgment The guidance of the Spirit for believers _____________________________________________________ "Glory" shared by/between Jesus, the Father, and the Holy Spirit John 16:16-33 Impending grief, then unexpected joy, for disciples Jesus knows that he has only a "little while" This is an unprecedented way of saying "farewell" The disciples think they finally understand, but do they? Next week we'll move on to John 17. Please continue reading ahead!
