_______________________________________________________

2. I John 1 - Walk in the light; let Jesus be your righteousness
_______________________________________________________

3. I John 2 - Obey God and love humanity, even in the face of opposition and persecution, for the long term _______________________________________________________

4. I John 3 - God loves us enough to call us children. The evidence of our close relation to God is our similar close relation to our fellow humans.
_______________________________________________________

5. I John 4 - The "love chapter" within this love letter. I John 4:7 is the most memorable verse in the letter; it ranks close to John 3: 16 in being wonderfully significant.
