Join us Sunday, September 6th, as we celebrate 75 years of being God's love in action in the Los Alamos community. We have a very special service planned with lots of music, memories and focus to future.

We are creating a time capsule for the next 25 years that will be dedicated on Sunday, September 6th. You can leave a note to the future in our hymnal inside the sanctuary or email the office with a greeting. office@lafumc.org

Our next book is "Legacy: A Black Physician Reckons with Racism in Medicine" by Uche Blackstock, MD. Books are available at the Mesa Public Library and United Women in Faith section of the church library. We hope you will join us on September 9th.

Help clean up our one mile stretch of Diamond Drive from the Omega Bridge to North Road. We will meet at the church at 9 a.m. get suited up and head out. Be refreshed by a fruit pop after we finish. Questions email: camilleswescott@gmail.com.

Saturday evening we will celebrate the past 75 years of our church. We will have of our previous pastors returning and they will share their memories. The program will also celebrate music through the years.

We you are invited to two events happening on September 10th. One event is at the Albuquerque Botancial Gardens. We will meet at the church at 7:30 a.m. to carpool to the gardens and have lunch. That evening at 7:15 p.m. Create & Discover will meet for the World Thank Offering Program. Come and learn how we spread God's love through this special offering. Thank you for your generous donations for our food pantry and for L.A. Cares. Your support helps feed many in the Los Alamos Community. Donations may be left in the cart in the church entry or placed inside the pantry box.

Our clubhouse knitters meet on Mondays at Ridge Park Clubhouse. We invite all knitters and crocheters to bring a project and join us for fellowship as we work together on our projects.
