Gentle Hike in the Woods Saturday, June 21
We’ll meet at the Ponderosa Campground on State Road 4 at 9 a.m. The hike will be about a 2 mile round trip from the campground to the rim of the Frijoes Canyon for a breath taking view. Bring your water and wear appropriate shoes/boots. No dogs allowed.

We will celebrate the life of Margaret Gibson on Saturday, June 28, at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary. A reception will follow in the Friendship Center.
Lydia Patterson Institute How Can You Help!
Our very own Lydia Patterson Institute is under threat due to unexpected visa restrictions. These students need your voice to stand with them. Community Food Pantry

The Light House Donations
McCurdy’s Light House is currently in need of new and used shoes all ages. Clothing for newborn to 4T and maternity clothes. Donations my be dropped off outside the church office or drop them off at McCurdy Ministries, 362A McCurdy Road, Espanola.
Summer Movie Sermon Series
Pastor John’s summer movie series will be Christmas in July and will begin on Sunday, June 29. Each Wednesday night beginning on June 25 we will show each film the week before at 6 p.m. in the Friendship Center. June 25: The Man Who Invented Christmas July 2: Elf July 9: A Christmas Story July 16: Miracle on 34th Street July 23: It’s a Wonderful Life
Celebration of Life
Calvin Klatt
We will celebrate the life of Calvin Klatt on Saturday, July 5, at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. A reception will follow in the Friendship Center.
Pilot Phone Program
The Interfaith Coalition on Homelessness is seeking funds for one-year pilot program. Our contributions will provide 10 prepaid phones for clients of Porch Light Health who are seeking help for Substance Use Disorder. The phones will help clients be able to manage their appointments, contact case managers, make arrangements for transportation, or contact Medicad. These are things they are not able to do without a phone. If you would like to support this ministry please make donations to FUMC, with a memo: Pilot Phone Program. Reading Buddies for LEER's summer reading
LEER is looking volunteers for their summer reading buddies program for children. You can volunteer on days the work best for you Monday - Thursday, June 16- July 17, from 12:30 p.m. - 2 p.m. A background check is required and a training video is available.
