Our Celebration will begin on Saturday, September 5th, 2026, with activities throughout the day. Our highlight is a special dinner celebration on Saturday beginning at 4 p.m. then conclude on Sunday morning with worship and a reception. RSVP is required for dinner. Join us Sunday, August 2, following our 10 a.m. worship. for lunch and making ice cream! Children & Youth can make ice cream in a bag. If you have a crank ice cream maker please let us know.

You can make a donation this month to help support Paper for Water's ministries. Donations can be made online by going to member giving, select onetime giving and make a note for Paper for Water. Checks can be made out to First United Methoidst and marked with a memo for Paper for Water.

Thank you for your generous donations for our food pantry and for L.A. Cares. Your support helps feed many in the Los Alamos Community. Donations may be left in the cart in the church entry or placed inside the pantry box.

Let's start the new school year off with a blessings. We invite students, teachers, volunteers, anyone involved in the school to bring an item to be blessed.

Our next book is "Legacy: A Black Physician Reckons with Racism in Medicine" by Uche Blackstock, MD. Books are available at the Mesa Public Library and United Women in Faith section of the church library. We hope you will join us on September 9th.

Our clubhouse knitters meet on Mondays at Ridge Park Clubhouse. We invite all knitters and crocheters to bring a project and join us for fellowship as we work together on our projects.
