75th Anniversary Happenings
Our Celebration will begin on Saturday, September 4th, 2026, with activities throughout the day. Our highlight is a special dinner celebration on Saturday beginning at 4 p.m. then conclude on Sunday morning with worship and a reception. RSVP is required for dinner. You can RSVP on this site under the 75th anniverary celebration tab. More details can be found there about the two day celebration.
Paper for Water

Isabelle and Katherine Adams will join us July 26th during worship to share the latest accomplishments of Paper for Water. We will be supporting Paper for Water through the month of August with our prayers, contributions and service. You will hear more details in the Wednesday newsletter.

Get Involved in 75th Anniversary
Choir
We are inviting former members and friends to join our special choir in honor of our 75th anniversary on September 6th. If you'd like to join us please contact Valerie Collins at Dirmusic@lafumc.org. We hope you can join us.
Food Pantry
Thank you for your generous donations for our food pantry and for L.A. Cares. Your support helps feed many in the Los Alamos Community. Donations may be left in the cart in the church entry or placed inside the pantry box.
Summer Movie Series
"Five Movies You've Never Heard of ...
and One You Have"
Our movies for this summer are: July 22nd: Stranger than Fiction July 29th: Begin Again Aug. 5th: Dead Poets Society Movies can be viewed in person on Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m. or on here on our website by clicking on the movie series tab on the homepage. The password can be found in the Wednesday newsletter or call the church office, 505-662-6277.
75th Anniversary Ice Cream Social

Join us Sunday, August 2, following our 10 a.m. worship. for lunch and making ice cream! Children & Youth can make ice cream in a bag. If you have a crank ice cream maker please let us know.
All Booked Up Select Book for September
Our next book is "Legacy: A Black Physician Reckons with Racism in Medicine" by Uche Blackstock, MD. Books are available at the Mesa Public Library and United Women in Faith section of the church library. We hope you will join us on September 9th.
Clubhouse Knitters
Mondays at 1:30 p.m.
Our clubhouse knitters meet on Mondays at Ridge Park Clubhouse. We invite all knitters and crocheters to bring a project and join us for fellowship as we work together on our projects.
