What to Expect
when joining us in person for worship!
Invitation
We invite you to worship with us, either in person at the church or online through several streaming options.
You will also find videos of our most recent messages by themselves, and entire worship services if you would like to see a worship service before attending.

Worship Style
Every Sunday we rotate between contemporary worship, using recently released praise songs, and traditional worship, using hymns and older songs. There is also a different “feel” and sequence for each of these services.

Apparel
We encourage those who are worshipping to come as they are comfortable, whether that means “business attire”, or shorts and summer dresses. We are not trying to impress God or each other with what we wear, but gathering to praise God in what we do.

Parking
There are accessible parking spaces near the front door, and there are no steps or other obstructions in the parking lot or building.
We also have overflow parking located in the parking lot next to ours in front of the high school's track and field.
For Families
with Children
At the back left of the sanctuary you will find our children’s section. This is available to all children and has toys, coloring materials, special children’s programs and other things to help our children feel welcome. There are also rockers for parents. While we encourage all children to be in worship, and know that sometimes children making noise makes parents uncomfortable, we do celebrate your presence with us and live by the motto that a church without the sound of children is the sound of a dying church.

Entering
As you come in the main entrance, you will be greeted by one of our ushers. If you are a first-time guest you are invited to fill out an information card with as much information as you would like to provide, and we would also like to make you a name tag. All of our attendees wear name tags so you are not singled out by having one. The ushers will also provide you with a worship guide if you desire to have one. Once you enter the sanctuary, there is coffee, tea and water available to the right, or you are invited to move to a seat.
Seating and Participation
Please sit in the sanctuary where you feel most comfortable. It is our goal that you will be greeted where you are, but we are human and are not always successful, though we do try to be welcoming and we are glad that you are with us.
As worship begins, there are times when people are asked to stand, but you may also remain seated if that is more comfortable for you. The words to songs and communal prayers are provided on screens and we again invite you to participate as you are comfortable.

First Time
Guests
For first time guests, there is not a time in which you will be asked to introduce yourself or that others will ask to introduce you, so fear not! We hope that you will feel God’s presence during our time together, and that you feel welcomed into our community.

Giving Expectations
If you are to become a regular attendee, or a member of the congregation, we have an expectation that we will join together in financially supporting this congregation. However, we are able to do that ourselves, and so in your first few visits do not feel that you have to give, except as you are called by the Spirit to provide.

See you
next time!
At the end of the service we encourage you to grab a cup of coffee and visit with others, or, as you make your way out of the sanctuary, the minister will be there to greet you, answer any questions, or set up a time for proper follow-up.

Accessibility
the quality of being easy to
approach, reach, enter, speak with, use, or understand

Hearing Loop
Our sanctuary has a hearing loop system that allows anyone with a T setting or T-coil hearing aid to “tune in” to the frequency for a better quality audio experience.

Extra Large
Print Bulletin
We provide several of our Worship Resources in large print, including bulletins, announcements, and Bibles. We also prioritize large and readable typefaces in our lyric projections.
Gender Neutral Bathroom
Regardless of gender identity or family responsibility, connected to the Sanctuary we have 2 bathrooms that are gender neutral, wheelchair accessible, and have changing tables.

Wheel Chair Accessible
Wheelchairs can easily navigate the sanctuary including a ramp to access the altar area. There are short pews that allow a person in a wheelchair to participate fully, and our whole campus is located on the same floor.
Help Us Do Better!
While we seek to make our services and campus as accessible as possible, we know there is always room to grow and we know there are things we probably should know, but don’t yet. If there are ways we can improve to make everyone’s experience better and more welcoming, please let us know.
